Digitalized match sheets application

Context and Challenge

FFR was looking for a solution to digitalize its match sheets for all the running competitions ruled by the federation.

One of the key challenges was the ability to use offline mobile apps as 4G/5G networks are not reliable in crowded stadiums.

Another challenge was to integrate with the existing OVAL-E system holding all the affiliate databases and match data.

Mission and Solution

FFR chose the Convertigo Low Code platform for its backend integration capabilities and the offline data Fullsync technology.

Development was performed by one of the Convertigo’s system integrator Orange Business Services.
The project uses Convertigo's back end technology with the Angular SDK. The client side is developed in Angular / Ionic.

FFR is using Azure Cloud infrastructure to run Convertigo Cloud based on Kubernetes and Docker containers.

Benefits obtained

Project was delivered on schedule. Every week-end, more than 1500 rugby matches are played nation-wide and match sheets are created and synchronized to the central IT system.
