    Hi

    I have 2 questions 🙂

    1:
    Is there any possibility to get authenticated context in convertigo that we can set in sequence
    context.setAuthenticatedUser(Login)
    after authentication from phonegap app using ntlm/kerberos mechanisms and Active Directory?
    I would like to have the authenticated context in convertigo without possibility of \”influence\” on given credentials to the system from app.

    2:
    Is Packages.com.twinsoft.util.TWSLDAP() function works with SSL secured LDAP version ?
    Is there any documentation about Packages.com.twinsoft.util ?
    var twsLDAP = new Packages.com.twinsoft.util.TWSLDAP();
    var authenticated = twsLDAP.bind(\”ldap://192.168.100.121:389\”, login, password)

    Best regards ana waiting for news,

    Pawel

    Hello Pawel,

    1) If We understand, you would like to perform LDAP/Kerberos Auth directly from the mobile and when this auth is done you would like to mark this user context as authenticated ?

    If yes, probably the client auth will retrieve a token form auth infrastructure, Then you can call a sequence in the sever with this token as argument and have the sequence check the token. If the token is verified, you can mark the context as authenticated.

    2) Yes TWSLDAP should work for ldaps://: No, unfortunately the is no official documentation on this package yet.

    Hope That Helps

    Hi,

    Have you been able to use ldaps ?

    for me with “ldp.exe” I can bind ldap and ldaps,

    but with “new Packages.com.twinsoft.util.TWSLDAP().bind(…)”

    I have only be able to use ldap.

    with ldaps I only get false as return value

    Hello,

    Yo will probably have to update your JVM’s root certificates with your organization root certificate. For example see :

    http://pinchii.com/2011/08/how-to-add-a-trusted-root-certificate-to-your-java-keystore/

    Your Studio’s JVM is in your <studio InstallDir>/jre directory.

    You will also have to that on the server JVM but this will be different for each application server…

    Hope That Helps
