    Hello,

I’m new on this forum. So, I will presenting myself.
My name is Choun and I’m from France, I use convertigo product for few months.
So few months ago, I installed convertigo server v.7.1.2 and I want to upgrade it with the latest version.
I would like to know if there is a special procedure to upgrade it ? If not do you have best practice to move from a version to another ?
The server is installed on Ubuntu 14.04 Server (en version 64 bits)

    Thank you in advance.

    Choun

    Hello Choun,

Sorry we missed your post 🙁

As you probably noticed, Convertigo Server uses a Workspace. The directories where the workspace is held is different from the server installation directory. This is why you can safely install a new version in a sibling directory and have this new version to use the existing workspace.

When the new version starts, it will upgrade automatically all exiting projects in the workspace to the new Server Version. Warning : This upgrade process can be done automatically from minor versions to higher minor versions.

    Hope That Helps

    Hello,

    Thanks for the answer.
I proceed to the upgrade from the version 7.1.2 to the 7.2.1.
The installation passed normally but when I go to the administration console, the version hasn’t change but the Build filename seems to be the good one (convertigo-7.2.1-v38535-linux32.war).
Please find attached a screenshot of admin console.

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards,

    Choun

    Hello,

Probably your old server is still running, You must stop it before starting the new server. If you do not do so, the server port will be busy and the new server will not start correctly.

    Hope That Helps
