We have several apps in a production environment with a Convertigo Server 7.4.4, using the linux 64 JBOSS distribution (specifically, under Jboss EAP 6.1.1 and java 1.6.)
We are planning the migration to Convertigo 7.5.4, in a new physical server (installing a new Jboss version or java is not really a problem if needed)
The question is: ¿what Jboss version and java version are needed por Convertigo 7.5.5? ¿Is is compliant with Wildfly?
In the other side, ¿what are the minimum hardware requirements for Convertigo 7.4?

We have also another question. ¿Are the current projects (the code), that is working with 7.4.4, compliant with 7.5.5? ¿Is it necessary important changes in the code? We are using flash update, and the ionic framework, but with our own ui components.

    Thank you

    Hello Cesar,

Starting from 7.5.x the standard delivery for Convertigo server is via Docker Images see https://hub.docker.com/_/convertigo
This is the only one we support for as a standard.

Of course, it would also possible to Convertigo servers under Wildfly or any other application server, but this can only be done now as a special assistance from us (Not included in standard support)

Using Docker images will give many benefits to you and your customer :
    – Standard product used ==> Reduce environment issues
    – Ease of installation ==> No more install scripts, config file tweeks …
    – Ease of ramping up, run several containers in one machine
    – Integration in modern scaling and managing software such as Kubernetes..

7.5.X is of course upward compatible with 7.4.4, your projects will run as is with no code modifications. Even if you use your own client code.

    Convertigo Support Team.
