Hi, I am receiving a “Requirements check failed for JDK 1.8″ error message when building the Android platform locally through Convertigo studio. I was able to build successfully before. Please see attached for the error message and my Java version.

    Thanks,
    Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

It looks like a Cordova environment issue.
Check the ANDROID_HOME and JAVA_HOME system variables.
Make sure your JAVA 1.8.0_192 is a JDK and not a JRE.
To force Convertigo Studio to use an external JDK, you can edit the ConvertigoStudio.ini file and add the following:

    -vm
    <AbsolutePathToJDK>\bin

Make sure to add it before the -vmargs argument.
