Convertigo Executive Chairman

François le Masne, Executive Chairman

Francois le Masne recently joined Convertigo as executive chairman. Previously based in California, he was director of product management and marketing for Acrobat 3D and Acrobat software in the manufacturing industry at Adobe Systems Inc.
Earlier, working closely with Adobe worldwide partners and customers, he was responsible for driving Adobe's solutions for the manufacturing industry, including LiveCycle and Flex server software lines.
Prior to joining Adobe, Francois was founder and CEO of OKYZ, a software company acquired by Adobe in 2004. Francois is more than 15 years in the enterprise software industry.


Convertigo CEO Olivier Picciotto

Olivier Picciotto, CEO

Olivier Picciotto is co-founder of Convertigo. Olivier is involved in global management of the company. He also acts as a "mashup evangelist" for convertigo products. Olivier has over 15 years experience managing high tech IT companies. Olivier has a strong vision on Convertigo products, and manages the global team.

Before Convertigo , Olivier started and managed the end user enterprise messaging products from Marben Produits, building one of the most powerfull X.400 messaging product on the market.
Olivier holds an Engineer degree from E.S.M.E specialized in IT technology.

Jean-Michel Cohen, Head of R&D

Jean Michel Cohen is co-founder of Convertigo . Jean Michel is involved in complex R&D tasks.
Most of the Convertigo's complex algorithms and processes have been designed according the knowledge and experience of Jean Michel. Jean Michel is also Convertigo's  'Legacy' expert handling most fo the existing 'dialects' used to interact with these old but strategic informations systems.

Fabien Balageas, CTO

Fabien Balageas joined Convertigo in 2000 as an R&D engineer. He was actively involved in the design and architecture of the flagship Convertigo Enterprise Mashup Server (C-EMS). He is behind many of the fundamental concepts of C-EMS still used today. In 2006, he then worked for Bell Labs, the research laboratory of Alcatel-Lucent, where he deepened his expertise in mobile applications, web services, natural language and user experimentation. With these past three years in the research world, he rejoined Convertigo in 2009 to start a new challenge: the technical direction of the new structure Convertigo. Initially responsible for putting in place methods and processes conducive to change Convertigo from craft to the software industry, he then led naturally to the technical direction of Convertigo.

Fabien holds a master degree in computer science and telecommunications from the University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris VI, Jussieu)


Convertigo Sales Manager

Michel Ménager, Sales Manager (HQ France)

Michel Ménager joined Convertigo as a sales manger in 1998. He is reponsible for  France sales. Michel has a strong experience in IT sales as he was sales manager for Marben's end user messaging products.

Convertigo European Sales Manager

Luc Hanssens, European Sales Manager  (HQ Belgium)

Luc Hanssens joined Convertigo in 2001. He is responsible for Benelux sales . Luc started his career working for Simware, a canadian based company, where he was responsible for European sales.

Auriga Partners

In september 2009, Auriga Partners invested 3 million euros (4.5 million dollars) in Convertigo.

Since 1998, AURIGA PARTNERS, an independent Venture Capital firm, has been managing several early stage funds specializing in Information Technology and Life Sciences.


Enterprise creation represents the core activity of the Auriga's founding members since 1986. Their experienced management team of nine complements one another in education, experience, and sector specialization.


Along with investing the necessary capital, they also bring their savoir-faire in developing and solidifying the executive team, organizing the company, and forming strategic and corporate partnerships.


As investors, they actively contribute to defining the appropriate financial strategy, as well as, assisting their portfolio companies in raising future capital.
